The Executive Committee of the ADC Theatre wish to appoint a full-time Operations Manager from September 2024 to August 2025.

The aim of the Operations Manager is to run the ADC Theatre efficiently and safely, providing a professional environment for student theatre and unforgettable experiences for audiences. This includes financial and Front of House management, as well as line-managing casual staff.

In line with the ADC Theatre's aims, this role provides an opportunity for the holder to gain experience in the management of a venue and to learn about all aspects of theatre operation.

The appointment will be made on a fixed-term basis for a period of 12 months from 01 September 2024 to 31 August 2025.

Once an offer of employment has been accepted, the successful candidate will be required to undergo a health assessment. 

Offers of appointment will be subject to the receipt of satisfactory references and the satisfactory completion of a six-month probationary period. There is the possibility for the contract to be renewed for a second year after the probation period.

Casual Vacancies

We currently have a full roster for our casual staff positions, but if you would like to register your interest, please send an application form to recruitment@adctheatre.com. We keep all applications for up to six months and review applications when we have vacancies available.

On average staff work 1-2 shifts per week but there are no minimum hours staff members are expected to work, or entitled to. All casual staff are expected to have some weekend availability. Please see the Job Descriptions below for further information on all our casual roles.

Please note that we expect prospective Duty Manager applicants to have previous front of house experience at the ADC Theatre or another arts venue.
